Woman blames 'windy day' for cocaine found in purse

Woman blames 'windy day' for cocaine found in purse”

Kennecia Posey, 26, was searched after the auto she was in was swerving in the roadway when it was stopped by Fort Pierce police in Florida.

A woman in Florida blamed a "windy day" after a police officer found cocaine in her purse.

They said there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

During a search of the auto, they found cocaine and marijuana in separate bags inside a purse Posey had on her lap.

She did not blame the appearance of that drug on the wind, instead readily admitting that the marijuana was hers. The cocaine was a different story. Posey, however, told investigators that the drugs were not hers, suggesting that they simply flew in through the car's window and settled in the purse.

According to police, Posey admitted the marijuana was hers, but denied having any cocaine. It's a windy day.

The suspect was jailed on one count each of cocaine possession and marijuana possession.

She was released on bond.
