While these smartphones weren't chart-leading, they had something going for them. Both the smartphones are part of the Android One programme and run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Despite the fact that the device is being showcased at the event, the company hasn't displayed any information about its specifications and has even kept the units locked so it's impossible for people to find out what the specs are. It will be the first X series Android smartphone from Nokia. Apart from this phone, Nokia is also trying to bring back the old charm by re-launching phones with names like the Nokia 3310.

According to reports out of China, many billboards put up near the event's location mention the Nokia X even though this device is yet to be announced. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo, and comes in two variants, one with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor and the other with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.

The 2018 iteration of the Nokia 6 is a sturdy and sleek handset with a Full HD (1,080 x 1,920) 5.5-inch display, fast-charging battery, and an impressive camera with Carl Zeiss lens. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage version and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage model, while it is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. That being said, the smartphone running stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) is nearly certain and for optics, there could be a 12-megapixel dual rear camera setup along with Carl Zeiss lenses coupled with an LED flash. The phone has a metal and glass design, and there's a fingerprint reader at the rear.

The Nokia 7 Plus is available in Black Copper and White Copper while the Nokia 8 Sirocco comes in only in Shiny Black colour.
