Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson to return as coaches for season 15”

But I'm telling you Kelly Clarkson is not going, and Jennifer Hudson is returning, so they will both be judges on The Voice this fall.

The NBC reality competition series confirmed that Jennifer Hudson, who finished in seventh on "Idol" back in 2004, will be returning to the panel for the 15th season of this Emmy victor.

As always, Blake Shelton and Maroon 5's Adam Levine will also be back in their chairs, mentoring a new batch of artists, all competing for the title of "The Voice".

Hudson also broke the news Thursday night in a video posted on her Twitter page, declaring, "This is gonna be a show, so y'all might wanna get ready, 'cause [we're] coming".

The series is now finishing up its 14th season with Clarkson, Shelton, Levine, and Alicia Keys in the red swiveling coaches' chairs.

"We are so excited to welcome back Kelly and Jennifer, two dynamic forces who bring undeniable soul, passion and inspiration as coaches" said Paul Telegdy, president of NBC Entertainment's alternative and reality group. "Team J. Hud. Team KC".

Hudson was originally a coach on "The Voice" back in its 13th season past year, but left along with Miley Cyrus in order to make way for the return of Alicia Keys, as well as Clarkson's own debut.

The 14th season of "American Idol" is approaching the semi-finals stage, and is broadcast on NBC on Monday evenings.
