Jimmy Fallon responds to Trump: 'Why are you tweeting at me?'

When Trump was gunning for the US Presidency back in 2016, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he was a good sport and allowed funnyman Fallon to touch his trademark hair. "And once Fallon caught wind of the tweet, he quite literally put his money where his mouth is, tweeting that he was going to be making a personal donation to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services, which is a" Texas-based nonprofit agency that provides free or low-priced legal aid to immigrants and refugees".

Interested in Donald Trump?

Jimmy Fallon took some shots at President Donald Trump after he went after the comedian on Twitter over the weekend. "So Melania, if you're watching, I don't think your anti-bullying campaign is working", Fallon cracked during his monologue. "He called & said 'monster ratings.' Be a man Jimmy!". You made me feel bad. The interaction spurred a big backlash against Fallon for what some saw as a light-hearted "normalizing" of Trump's out-of-the-mainstream policy agenda at a crucial point of the presidential campaign.

Trump called out the TV host on Sunday night by tweeting that Fallon is "now whimpering to all that he did the famous "hair show" with me (where he seriously messed up my hair), & that he would have now done it differently because it is said to have "humanized" me".

"Before we begin", Fallon said at the top of his monologue, "I just want to give a shout out to our show's No. 1 fan: the president of the United States!". "I don't have his number, I don't want his number", Fallon said.

That inspired the president to go after him on Twitter, telling him to "be a man".

Surprisingly, Trump agreed and Fallon playfully messed up Donald's infamous hair 'do.

"I know that you guys are cheering", Noah told his audience, "but I'm sorry, I think that was the wrong thing to do. What would make you happy?"

Later on Monday, Trump - cue the "breaking news" fanfare - doubled down on his Fallon bashing during a rally in SC. I'm depressed. Do you want to push me more?
