Josh Hader apologizes after offensive tweets resurface”

Brewers pitcher Josh Hader probably thought his performance in the All-Star Game would be a talking point after the American League's 8-6 win in 10 innings.

Many offensive tweets that included racist and homophobic thoughts from Hader surfaced during the game.

Before the game even ended, Hader made his tweets protected.

"During last night's game we became aware of Mr. Hader's unacceptable social media comments in years past and have since been in communication with the Brewers regarding our share concerns", MLB's release states.

Hader said the tweets do not reflect his beliefs now, and he did "not vividly" recall writing them. I obviously said some things that weren't excusable. "And like I said, it doesn't reflect any of my beliefs going on now". 'I really don't know exactly what's all out there'.

"You live and you learn", he said. He made his major league debut in June 2017. We're still learning who we are in high school.

Members of his family were seen switching out his jerseys for generic ones without his name on the back. There's no excuses for what was said or what happened'.

"I'm sure there's some lyrics, some rap lyrics being tweeted", Hader said.

"Like I said before, I was young, immature and stupid, and there's no excuses for what was said and what happened". It won't happen again.

The Brewers also issued a statement Wednesday, admonishing the pitcher for the tweets, but adding that they don't represent who Hader has become.

Cain was asked if he was surprised to hear about the tweets.

He added: "Being 17 years old you make stupid decisions and mistakes". He said he's ready for any consequences. "He was young. We all say some insane stuff when we're young". Basically, we're going to move on from this. "I know he's a great teammate".

Then, as the former Orioles draft pick and current Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher exited the game and returned to the clubhouse, he realized the three-run home run he allowed to Jean Segura would be the least of his problems. notes that Major League Baseball has tried to foster a more inclusive environment in recent years, in part by suspending players for using homophobic slurs on the field, like Matt Joyce and Kevin Pillar.
