Duke and Duchess of Sussex praised by Nelson Mandela's goddaughter

Duke and Duchess of Sussex praised by Nelson Mandela's goddaughter”

Grant's outburst occurred two days after Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, told The Sun that he thought the new Duchess of Sussex looked "terrified" to be a royal and that she hadn't spoken to him since the day after her wedding to Prince Harry.

"[She] has found certain rules in the royal household hard to understand, like the fact that the queen prefers women in dresses or skirts rather than trouser suits, and is often asking Harry why things have to be done in a certain way", the source tells the magazine.

"Enough is enough", she added.

"Her Majesty the Queen had a particularly strong personal relationship with Nelson Mandela".

It was an incredible day for the designer, who found out the Duchess her chosen her dress when her phone started wildly sounding off with texts from her publicist at around 6:45 am (MDT). And in those tweets, she let loose with a barrage against the Duchess.

Of course, Meghan has made headlines for breaking royal protocol. A source explained to the publication that she also reportedly "is often asking Harry why things have to be done in a certain way".

In a less-than-surprising statement, she teamed the protocol-breaking look with a co-ordinating £600 clutch by Mulberry and £520 Dior shoes.

The source also noted that the former Suits actress definitely feels "welcome and loved" by the royal family. Stylist and close friend to Meghan, according to the Mail, Jessica Mulroney, is apparently advising the Duchess remotely on her fashion choices.

The whole royal family came together to pay moving tributes to the former South African leader and freedom fighter, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex led the way as they visited the opening of an exhibition in London celebrating Mandela's life and legacy.

"It really worries me", he said of pictures he's seen of her wearing what he called a "pained" smile.

Thomas Markle seemingly can't stop talking about his famous daughter, even though he said he would stop chatting with the press in his interview with The Sun that was published on Sunday. "I think she's under too much pressure".
