Nipsey Hussle's Parents Speak Out For The First Time Since His Murder

Nipsey Hussle's Parents Speak Out For The First Time Since His Murder”

Nipsey Hussle's contributions to the South Central Los Angeles area haven't gone unnoted.

Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson, a friend of Hussle's, is expected to introduce legislation on Friday to rename the intersection of Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard as "Ermias "Nipsey Hussle" Asghedom Square", Fox5 reported.

The outpouring of love for Nipsey Hussle is also coming from the Los Angeles City Council where a lawmaker wants an intersection named in honor of the slain rapper. It came after the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce, and Kendrick Lamar all hailed Nipsey's talent in the wake of his death. "He's not shy to tell the truth even though it might not look good. (God) sent him to send a message".

"We all have a plan, but God has his own plan". She adds that she will always remember the rapper, who she dated for almost six years, as the most upstanding man.

While Hussle was associated with gangs, he appeared to be distancing himself from that life.

Angelique Smith says her son has always recognized his own potential, saying, "He has always known".

Kodak Black was also forced to apologize after disrespecting Nipsey's girlfriend Lauren London. He leaves behind a daughter, Emani Asghedom, as well as a 2-year-old son Kross Asghedon with his longtime partner, actress Lauren London.

Speaking in a joint interview for the Los Angeles Times, she said: "I'm going to keep my head high and always represent for my king to the fullest". He was a family man.

Hussle will be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park after a funeral service at Staples Center.
