Lomachenko: I Want a Fight With Mikey Garcia, I Want Titles”

Lomachenko (13-1, 10 KOs) brutalized the mandatory challenger for his WBA belt throughout their brief fight, and the Ukrainian almost ended it late in the third round when he knocked Crolla into the ropes.

Calling the night's action was Joe Tessitore on play-by-play, former two-division world titleholder Tim Bradley serving as an analyst, and former two-division titleholder and 2004 Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward, who will also be serving as an analyst.

After the fight, Lomachenko called out Mikey Garcia.

A minute into the next round it was all over, Crolla going down just a minute in after a hard right hook from Lomachenko.

Crolla, 32, wasn't Lomachenko's first choice as an opponent.

Crolla, meanwhile, had said in advance of the fight that he was prepared to "shock the world" when he was plugged into the bout as an injury replacement for IBF champion Richard Commey, but in truth it was a poor performance from the the Englishman.

Lomachenko has retained his WBO and WBA lightweight titles after the one-sided bout at the Staples Center.

And he is targeting "historic" fights, with WBC lightweight title holder Garcia in his sights.

Reiss ruled a knockdown late in Round 3 when combination punching from Lomachenko caused Crolla to sit down on the ropes while eating clean shots. Losing to Lomachenko is never a disgrace.

Lomachenko told Sky Sports: "Of course for me, more interest in Mikey Garcia, but if Mikey Garcia can't cut weight, maybe it will be Luke Campbell, maybe we can organise a fight in the UK". "I want to thank all the fans who came to support me".

The Ukrainian delivered a devastating knock-out in the fourth round at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to continue his remarkable legacy as the pound-for-pound star of the sport. The fight was Ramirez's debut at light heavyweight.
