Lori Loughlin Is "Freaking Out" After Realising She'll Likely Do Jail Time

Lori Loughlin Is

Other stars, such as Paul Greene and Pascale Hutton, among others, were more keen to address the show's creative hiatus in the wake of Loughlin's termination.

Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, a fashion designer, have been accused of paying $500,000 to get their two daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella, into the University of Southern California on fake crew team scholarships.

Loughlin was taken into custody by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents in Los Angeles on March 13 after being one of 50 people - including her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, and actress Felicity Huffman - charged in a college admissions cheating scam, in which they allegedly paid money to fraudulently secure their children's admissions into elite universities.

When Calls the Heart resumes season six with a two-night premiere Sunday, May 5 and Monday, May 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.

In the end, Lori and Mossimo just put their whole faith and trust in the courts dealing with the case, hoping that they will eventually sort things out.

The scandal arose on March 12 when the US Attorney's Office announced that 50 people - including Loughlin, Giannulli and actress Felicity Huffman - had allegedly involved in the cheating scandal.

Isabella Giannulli, Lori Loughlin and Olivia Giannulli attend the Teen Choice Awards 2017 at Galen Center in L.A., Calif., on August 13, 2017. They were charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and money laundering, said the U.S. Attorney's Office in MA.

The news comes weeks after the network's parent company Crown Media cut all ties with the personality due to her ongoing legal trouble. Both Loughlin and Giannulli face up to 20 years in prison. "I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions", Huffman said, reported CNN. She is accused of paying $15,000 to modify her daughter's SAT scores.

The source went on to say that Loughlin has been reluctant to accept a deal from the very beginning because she feels that she 'hasn't done anything that any mom wouldn't have done, if they had the means to do so'.

"I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community".
