RICK AND MORTY Will Return This November

RICK AND MORTY Will Return This November”

The additional 70 episodes is more than Rick and Morty's first three seasons combined (31 episodes), and underscores the show's outsized success.

We already knew that season 4 of Rick and Morty was on its way, but creators of the hit show have confirmed it will air in November this year. According to Variety, Ricky and Morty's imminent return was announced at the WarnerMedia upfront presentation in NY. Though they sound a little unsure about which year it actually is, currently.

The release date was announced in a video featuring Rick and, of course, Morty, who was a bit too shy to make the announcement himself.

More news: Australian dies in Alaskan plane crash

It was announced last May that Adult Swim had given "Rick and Morty" a massive 70-episode order, which will bring the series to 101 episodes. We've seen a handful of glimpses inside the production, including hints pointing to a new "Interdimensional Cable" episode, glimpses inside the writers room and the first announced guest voice for the new season. And you need to get used to waiting through long breaks between seasons. "We're going to do it this year, 2019".

This was nothing but good news for fans of the show, who were subjected to a painful two year wait between the second and third seasons. They were then expecting a similar amount of time before the fourth season dropped - and it's not far off.

Rick and Morty broke the news themselves. Rick and Morty also has become a multi-platform sensation not just on television, but across digital, gaming, livestreaming, retail, and fan experiences.
