Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions - E3 2019 - Launch Trailer

Forza Horizon 4's next expansion will follow in the footsteps of the third game's Hot Wheels expansion by doing something a bit wild and weird with a big toy brand.

Publisher Microsoft and developer Playground Games announced Forza Horizon 4 expansion "LEGO Speed Champions" during the Microsoft E3 2019 press conference. Typically, the company alternates between announcing mainline Forza serious sim racing games and the more open-world arcade experiences of Forza Horizon.

However, we did sort of get a new Forza announcement for this year.

LEGO Speed Champions will cost £16/$20/€18 from the Microsoft store when it releases on June 13th and is included if you buy or already bought the Ultimate Edition, expansions bundle or add-ons bundle. All of the cars are LEGO-fied too, of course. Oh hell yes, brick-built cars are coming to Forza. The passenger seat is Lego.

What makes it all go, obviously, is that the tried-and-true, blissfully good Forza Horizon driving feel and physics underpins the over-the-top LEGO goofiness.
