Céline Dion ends Las Vegas residency after 16 years”

Céline Dion ended her 16-year run in Las Vegas by making it a family affair.

Dion thrived, Katsilometes said, pulling in roughly $700,000,000 during her 16-year stint in ticket sales alone.

"Wow, great crowd." Those were the first words Celine Dion spoke during the grand finale of her record-breaking residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace Saturday night, a quick acknowledgment between performances of hit songs "The Power of Love" and "That's The Way It Is".

"A lot of performers would come here just to perform nostalgia shows", Katsilometes said, "they weren't really that relevant commercially or artistically, but Celine was and still is".

"We all waited for you! This is home away from home".

This is our final show in this attractive Colosseum in Las Vegas. "Are you ready to have a good time tonight?" "It's my brand new song", she added.

Quebec music icon Celine Dion is bidding adieu to Las Vegas.

Celine Dion reveals that she's starting her "Courage" World Tour and releasing an album within months of each other in 2019.

She paid tribute to her late husband and manager, René Angélil, during the show in an emotional moment she shared on stage with their three children.

Not only did the 51-year-old singer introduce a brand-new song at the concert, TMZ reports that she also brought the entire show to a halt when a fan seated in the front row got up to go to the bathroom.
