HTC U19e with Snapdragon 710 SoC & Desire 19+ Smartphones Launched in Taiwan”

According to HTC, the HTC U19e carries a price tag of TWD 14,900 (roughly Rs. 33,000) and it will be offered in Extraordinary Purple and Modest Green colours.

We haven't seen a new HTC handset since the HTC U12 Life and U12 Plus in 2018, but even then it felt like the smartphone manufacturer had been winding down its production. It looks like a solid phone on paper. The 4GB RAM version comes with 64GB storage while the 6GB RAM version packs a 128GB storage. The 4/64GB model is set to cost TWD 9,990 ($318 or €280) while the 6/128GB variant will retail at TWD 10,990 ($350 or €310). The phone will go on sale starting July. The HTC U19e - not a Galaxy S10e competitor Following in the footsteps of last year's flagship, the HTC U19e is equipped with a large 6-inch display featuring an 18:9 aspect ratio. Unlike the ongoing smartphone design trend of including a notch, hole-punch, or pop-up selfie camera, the HTC U19e sports a more traditional look with bezels on both top and bottom. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM.

Regarding the selfie snappers that sit up front, there's a 20-megapixel camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel sensor that allows for Iris Recognition Unlock.

The HTC U19e measures 156.5 x 75.9 x 8.0 mm and weighs 180 grams. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou. There is a 16-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies.
