Ruiz: Joshua not a good boxer

Ruiz: Joshua not a good boxer”

Andy Ruiz Jr pulled off one of the biggest shocks in the history of the heavyweight division earlier this month, stopping undefeated world champion Anthony Joshua in the seventh round at Madison Square Garden.

The 29-year-old took to the streets of California, where he was born, in an open-top vehicle to celebrate winning the IBF, WBA and WBO titles following his seventh-round stoppage victory at Madison Square Garden.

The self-proclaimed "Gypsy King" dismissed Ruiz Jr's heroic performance at Madison Square Garden by branding him a "bum".

"It's going to be a hell of a fight - Ruiz vs Joshua II".

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has said his fighter seems keen to return to Madison Square Garden to avenge the defeat, which came on his much publicized U.S. debut.

"I don't know if people want me to talk bad about him, but that's not the type of guy that I am."
I can do a lot better. I think the only thing he can do is just run around. "Right now I'm just focused on getting the results that I got in the last fight in the rematch, and remain the Mexican heavyweight champion of the world at heavyweight". It would also be foolish to count out Ruiz however, who was streaks ahead of Joshua in a technical sense. You know a lot of people, and I'm speaking to Joshua too, because he was overlooking me and saying.

Following the defeat, it was announced that the rematch clause in the contract was triggered. "I don't want to say all the things I am going to change", the 29-year-old said.

"But he fought a hungry guy. But it's going to be a hell of a fight for Ruiz-Joshua II". "I was hungry, I was mentally focused for that fight and I did not want to lose in front of my family or get beat up in front of my family".
