The Steam Summer Sale is now live

The Steam Summer Sale is now live”

In addition to offering ridiculous savings, the Sales tend to include fun meta-events, activities, minigames, and rewards for users to sink their teeth into.

Not only does the Summer Sale have discounts and deals galore, but this year's sale also comes with a new event called the 2019 Steam Grand Prix.

The Steam Grand Prix Summer Sale started Tuesday, June 25, but those wanting to get on the deals ended up seeing either a 502 or 504 error screen. As for the sale itself, most of you know the drill by now: there will be a selection of highlighted deals to browse each day, but the sale prices you see will persist throughout the duration of the Summer Sale, giving you ample time to decide on what to buy.

In short, just about any game you could want is available at a discount, and probably a steep one. "Team up with friends to complete quests, earn personal rewards, and race to the finish each day of the Summer Sale".

You can read the full rundown of the 2019 Steam Grand Prix rules over on its official Steam page. However, it's not the next sale set to happen - that's the Steam Spring Sale.

It's likely this year's sale will bring back the Steam trading cards and mini-games of previous years.

If you are in one of the top three teams on the daily chart, you could even win a game from your wish list, so its a nice incentive to contribute. If the leak is accurate, Steam's Summer Sale will go live on June 25 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM GMT (and June 26 at 3 AM AET) and last for about two weeks. Once the Grand Prix ends, random members of the "overall" winning teams will be given "up to" three of the top items from their Wishlists.
