Sarah Paulson won’t be part of ‘American Horror Story: 1984’”

In classic "AHS" fashion, we don't know much about "1984", with the only confirmed cast members being returning "AHS" star Emma Roberts and Olympic medalist Gus Kenworthy, a newcomer to the franchise who is playing her boyfriend.

Like Sarah Paulson, Peters has portrayed notable characters in the hit anthology series since the show's first season n FX back in 2011.

Sarah Paulson was a mainstay on the previous American Horror story seasons. While the actress may not appear in a major role in the next season, the outlet notes there is still a possibility she could make a cameo appearance.

Thoughts and prayers go out to all the "AHS" stans during this hard time. Deadline suggests that Paulson won't be sitting out the season completely, but viewers should only expect to see a little of her in the next installment of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology.

The Ocean's Eight actress is now chipping away at FX's Mrs. America, which focuses on the Equal Rights Amendment development during the 1970s.

Paulson additionally stars as the title character in Netflix's Ratched, Murphy's One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest prequel about the beginnings of the film and book's Nurse Ratched villain. That series has received a two-season commitment. She has been nominated for five Emmys for her roles on the series.

Sarah Paulson isn't the only familiar face that'll be absent in American Horror Story: 1984. For 1984, both Evan Peters and Billy Eichner are returning.

While speaking to an Extra reporter at WonderCon, Evan was asked if he was "involved" in the new season.

Shortly before season eight (Apocalypse) started its run last year, FX picked up AHS for an additional two years taking the show to season ten.

'And so you have to go there for scenes, and it ends up integrating it somehow into your life'. You're in traffic and you find yourself screaming and you're like, What the hell?
