Taylor Swift becomes world’s highest paid celebrity”

As per usual, Forbes recently released their list of highest-paid celebrities in 2019.

The bulk of Swift's 2018/19 earnings is likely to derive from her Reputation stadium tour, which Forbes adjudged to be the highest-grossing tour in USA history. She sold an estimated $360 million worth of Kylie Cosmetics, a company she owns 100 percent of, in the previous year, Forbes reported. She also left Big Machine Records, where she first started her music career as a teenager, in November 2018 and moved to Republic Records, reportedly agreeing to a deal that could be worth up to $200 million.

According to U.S. reports, Swift, 29, minted millions from her Reputation Stadium tour in 2018, as well as Netflix's streaming of the tour, and her new deal at Republic Records. Both times she topped the list coincided with her tour.

Jenner, 21, the half-sister of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, came in second place after bringing in an estimated $170 million thanks to her booming online lip kits and cosmetics company.
