The Black Shark 2 Pro gaming smartphone was launched in China for CNY 2,999 for 12GB+128GB variant, and the larger 12GB+256GB variant is priced at CNY 3,999 - both the variants are said to be available from August 2. The Black Shark 2 Pro comes with a new game mode called - Black Space Dock 4.0 alongside the predecessor's features including -- the multi-layer Liquid Cooling system for heat dissipation during extensive gameplay sessions. The base model is a 12 GB + 128 GB variant, priced at Rs CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 30,000), and the second is a 12 GB +256 GB variant, priced at CNY 3,499 (approx RS 35,000).

The Black Shark 2 Pro comes with an upgraded back design for improved grips and two more RGB LED lights on the back placed on either side of the RGB-lit Black Shark logo at equal distance.

Talking colors, the smartphone is available in two avatars - Electric black and Ice ash. The resolution of the display is 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display still has a 240Hz touch response, offering much-improved latency and response time dropping down to 34.7ms - which is lower and even better than its predecessor. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, measures 163.61x75.01x8.77mm, and weighs 250 grams. You also have the Fast Finger and iPhone 3D Touch-style Master Touch feature onboard here, however, we're disappointed to not see a higher refresh rate screen on the Black Shark 2. It also is equipped with upgraded DC Dimming 2.0 and Liquid Cooling 3.0 + technology. Also, the phone comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera at the front that has an f/2.0 lens on top. So, the new Black Shark phone is an answer to Asus's recently launched smartphone. The only addition to the bunch is the new Arctis 3 gaming headphone, which will now complement the company's USB-C earphones in the audio accessory segment.
