Govinda reveals that he declined James Cameron's 'Avatar', gets trolled”

"And as predicted by me, the film released 8 or 9 years later and was a super-hit!"

He further revealed, "I told him that I felt it would take seven years for him to complete the film. That infuriated him (kidding)!" He further added, "I told him that the "Avatar" you want in the film is handicapped".

Talking about his career, actor Govinda recently opened up about some big films that he rejected during his career.

Well, on the show Aap Ki Adalat, hosted by Rajat Sharma, Govinda revealed that he was offered a role in James Cameron's movie Avatar and that it was him who had suggested the director the title as well.

A user on Twitter couldn't stop laughing on the Coolie No 1's statement and wrote, "Govinda claims he was offered Worthington's role in Avatar which he turned down coz he couldn't paint his body for 410 days of shooting". Some wondered if the actor was being sarcastic or whether it was one of those classic "Chichi" jokes.

Some Twitter users made hilarious new posters of Avatar featuring Govinda as a Na'vi man while others realised he might be a better fit to play England's new Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

We can't stop laughing at the wit of Twitterati.

Avatar, which was released in the year 2009, went on to become the highest-grossing movie in the world until recently when Avengers: Endgame replaced it at the Box Office. He said, "I gave the title of the film". The actor also claimed that he was originally offered "Gadar", "Taal", "Chandni" and of Jackie Shroff's in "Devdas", but couldn't do them as he had his reasons.

On the professional front, Govinda was last seen in Rangeela Raja co-starring Mishika Chourasia and Anupama Agnihotri.
