MLB Rumors: Indians Trading Trevor Bauer To Reds In Three-Team Deal”

Trevor Bauer has had quite the eventful last few days.

Yasiel Puig ended his season with Cincinnati in another brawl.

Reds reliever Amir Garrett, being lifted after allowing a ninth-inning home run, charged at the Pirates dugout Tuesday at Great American Ballpark.

San Diego would receive minor league outfielder Taylor Trammell from the Reds, the person said.

Although the right-hander apologized after the game, Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona could still punish Bauer internally for his antics.

Trammell is a 21-year-old former first-round pick who is batting.236 in Double-A this year. Major League Baseball reportedly fined Bauer for the outburst. The person spoke Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the discipline was not announced.

Despite Cleveland being in wild-card contention, Bauer's tantrum and quirky reputation have led to speculation that the Indians might move him. "So I'm guessing that's what's happened here".

The Indians have traded ace righthander Trevor Bauer to the Reds, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan. "This part of the year has been awesome for me, being on this team with my teammates and in this city".

"To be honest with you, I need to figure out what I consider is proper and respectful", Francona said. "We stay next door - we're going to Cleveland". When he joins Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Luis Urias, that will give San Diego a fun core to build on.

The Cuban-born outfielder has a career.275 average with 130 homers and 391 RBIs in 812 games. He is not eligible for arbitration until 2022 and is under team control until free agency in 2025.

As of Tuesday, according to Heyman, it is looking less and less likely that Bauer will be dealt.

Reyes, 24, hit.253 in 98 games with the Padres, including a.847 OPS and 27 home runs.
