Hot temperatures develop this weekend, yet not as muggy”

The weather pattern will stay unsettled through then too, keeping off and on storm chances in the forecast. Highs will reach the lower 90s with a light south wind. Some of these storms could become severe, with the main threats being large hail and damaging wind gusts. Storms will move out tonight with some partial clearing. Lows will dip into the lower 70s by morning. It is humid, so that will lead to heat index values over 105 degrees each afternoon. We'll be left with a partly cloudy sky through the rest of the day with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.

Meteorologist Sarah Fletcher says it's going to heat up this weekend and storm chances will stick around for some. Another gorgeous day on tap for Sunday.

Temperatures will warm back to near 90 on Monday.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with temperatures increasing to around 70 degrees throughout the day.

Highs will drop into the upper 80s behind the front Tuesday through Thursday. Even cooler to end the work week.

Tonight, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 70 and an east southeast wind of 3 to 5 miles per hour, according to the weather service.
