YouTuber Marina Joyce missing as appeal launched for 22-year-old

Joyce, a 22-year-old woman from the London Borough of Haringey, was last seen on July 31 and was reported missing to police on Wednesday. Marina Joyce, 22, who boasts 2.1 million subscribers on YouTube, was reported as a missing person to police on August 7 and hasn't been seen since July 31, according to a tweet from London's Haringey Police department.

Her videos consist of hair and makeup, advice and music videos.

She reemerged later to assure viewers that she was "safe and well", but questions about her safety have been raised again following this latest disappearance. It was reported she was last seen on 31 July.

Due to their concern, they posted the hashtag, #SaveMarinaJoyce, out of fear she was kidnapped, abused, or on drugs.

She last posted a video to her 2.1m YouTube subscribers at the end of June.

Despite this, Joyce's boyfriend Brandon Mehmed promised "she is safe" in an Instagram post published on Friday.

Mr Mehmed wrote: "Everything is being dealt with in a professional manner".

Fans also claimed that she could be seen whispering "help me please" and making rapid eye movements to signal that she was in distress. "Everyone who thinks I'm acting "suspiciously" are only misinformed and don't know me at all".

There also appeared to be bruises scattered on her arm.

In March 2017, Marina, who has more than two million subscribers on YouTube, shared a video explaining she was suffering from depression at the time of the weird videos.

Can you help to find Marina Joyce, 22, missing from Haringey? "Things that I would look back upon and feel so grateful that I am still alive".

Another time she caused fans to worry for her well-being when weeks later she asked fans to call her "Goddess Marina", saying she wanted to create a temple where she would be known as "God of the Shrine".
