Schools in Gilroy, El Paso and Dayton Receive Singer's Support”

"I applaud Lady Gaga for having the courage and integrity to stand up on behalf of successful artistes who find themselves on the receiving end of such [claims]".

Steve Ronsen says his 2012 song nearly, which he posted to SoundCloud, had a three-note melody - G, A, B - which Lady Gaga, 33, replicated for the song, which was hit the top of the charts this past March in the wake of her memorable performance at the Oscars with co-star Bradley Cooper.

When the song "Shallow" came out, Lady Gaga was basically hailed as a hero.

Nearly songwriter Ronsen appears to be a prolific working musician who had a solo album released in 2012, and now is the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for a touring Nashville band.

Gaga and co-writers Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt released "Shallow" in 2018. Unknown Songwriter Claims for the "Shallow" Song Melody. We can not turn away from our loved ones.

The songstress took to Facebook on Friday, writing that she was channeling her "confusion, frustration and fury into hope", by partnering with the website to fully fund projects in 125 classrooms in El Paso, 23 classrooms in Gilroy, California and 14 classrooms in Dayton, Ohio. "I am simply going about this how anyone else would investigate any possible infringement". He said that Shallow Song's Note is based on his song "Almost" Titled.

So, Ronsen and his lawyer Mark are asking millions for this copyright settlement.

Lady Gaga is being threatened with legal action.

He said "Should Mr. Shirian proceed with this case, Lady Gaga will fight it vigorously and will prevail". They have requested an opposing report which they "have requested multiple times". "Even Shirian's own musicologist acknowledged the generic three note progression is present in many other songs predating his client's song". The song was a smash with critics as well, as it won an Oscar, a Golden Globe and two Grammys this past awards season.

Plagiarism accusations are not new to the showbiz world: earlier this month, Katy Perry lost a similar lawsuit after her 2013 track "Dark Horse" was found to have duplicated Flame's 2008 Christian rap song "Joyful Noise".
