Two Women File New $100 Million Lawsuit Against Jeffrey Epstein Estate

Two Women File New $100 Million Lawsuit Against Jeffrey Epstein Estate”

Jeffrey Epstein killed himself, New York City's chief medical examiner has concluded, rebutting a slew of conspiracy theories that he was murdered.

Epstein, 66, was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Centre in New York City on August 10.

Previous published reports, based on leaks, had indicated indicated that various bones in Epstein's neck were broken, including one near the Adam's apple called the hyoid bone.

His death prompted outrage and disbelief over how such a high-profile prisoner, known for socialising with powerful people including presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, could have gone unwatched.

According to prosecutors, Epstein sexually exploited dozens of teenagers at his homes in Manhattan and Florida between 2002 and 2005.

Epstein had pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.

Three lawyers representing accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein broke their silence Friday evening, announcing they plan to conduct their own thorough investigation into Epstein's shocking death. "It is indisputable that the authorities violated their own protocols".

Later, Epstein was mysteriously taken off suicide watch.

Meanwhile, Epstein's former cellmate was cleared of wrongdoing in an incident that left the disgraced financier semicoscious in his cell before his death and prompted him to be placed on suicide watch.

The AP often does not report details of suicide methods but has made an exception because Epstein's cause of death is pertinent to the ongoing investigations.

They have all strenuously denied the allegations.

Several women have also come forward seeking damages. Jennifer Araoz went public with her lawsuit Wednesday, while one day later, two women - identified in court documents simply as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 - filed a lawsuit in federal court against his estate and nine other unnamed co-defendants.

Maxwell's whereabouts are unknown but she was recently photographed at a restaurant in Los Angeles, according to USA reports.

Prison experts say that the decision to take Epstein off suicide watch would have been appropriate.

The scene showed barbed wire, prison offers with Epstein in the middle, as a reminder of the fate that could await him if he was not "careful", according to the newspaper.

Two days later they went to Epstein's luxurious mansion near Central Park.

"They wouldn't move anybody until he got where he was going, which is what they used to do with El Chapo, too", the visiting attorney said.
