Ariana Grande: 'My anxiety, depression have been at an all-time high'”

"Hi my loves", Ariana wrote on Instagram (via The Huffington Post).

Ariana had only just returned to Manchester to perform at their annual Pride festival, the first time she returned to the city since her One Love benefit concert, which was held in honour of the 22 people who were killed by a terrorist bomb at her concert at Manchester Arena in May 2017.

Ariana Grande shared a video from a recent concert in which she displays some impressive vocal gymnastics, her voice soaring to hit some upper-register high notes with impressive ease. Despite her enormous talent and worldwide success, the singer still experiences high highs and low lows just like any other person.

Ariana assured fans that they would be reimbursed and promised to give the "the best show" she could. I could do it on Broadway (and did).

"Time for some honesty", she began her social media post. I've been giving you all i've got an trying to push through as hard as I can and to mask it. "Naw with all due respect, I could do this in your living room for you, fam", she wrote. I will preserve my energy for the show.

"I wish I had control over these attacks but as anybody with anxiety or depression understands, sometimes you can only operate on its terms and not your own". Reception to the video was mainly positive comments from fans who couldn't believe how incredible her voice is.

She went on to explain that she would never want to rush her time with the fans or not be there a hundred percent since she wants to actually enjoy their company. "I thank you for accepting my humanness". "I am constantly working on my health/learning how to process pain (aren't we all). everyday is different but I'm doing my best. jus know I will continue showing up and giving as much of my energy as I can and do my best even tho my brain looks like the world map", she added at that time.
