Samsung Galaxy A90 5G specs revealed through multiple leaks

The company is yet to announce an official launch date for the Galaxy A90 5G.

The latest step towards growing its mid-range portfolio and spicing it up with flagship-grade specs seems to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90. Now, this phone has been in the rumour mill for quite some time now. Of course, Samsung may decide to delay the launch of the Galaxy Fold in the USA, although it doesn't look like the company will wait until September 27, as previously stated. The smartphone is said to pack a 32MP selfie camera. The triple camera system contains a 48MP main, a 5MP and an 8MP supporting camera units. All in all, it seems rather "standard" as a Galaxy A series design.

South Korean tech giant Samsung is going to introduce yet another phone in the A-series - the Samsung Galaxy A90 - and this could become the companys most affordable 5G handset, the media has reported. Separately, the Galaxy A90 5G was allegedly spotted on the Samsung Korea site, and though this listing has been taken down, a screenshot gives us some indication about the smartphone's design.

We've previously heard that fast charging could be one of the Galaxy A90's key features, and another one of Blass' images backs this up. We've been hearing about the device since the beginning of 2019 (although lots of what we heard ended up being the Galaxy A80, as the two phones were confused thoroughly), and we've not got any idea on when we could see the Galaxy A90 5G.

Another pretty intriguing rumor is that Samsung may be wisely backing off its original intention to release the Galaxy Fold with an eye-popping $2,000 price tag, which of course puts it immediately out of reach for most consumers. The Galaxy Watch Active 2, for example, is rumored to be heading for a September 6 launch in South Korea - on the same day that Samsung will reportedly launch, at last, its first foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold.
