New Apex Legends Event Adds Limited-time Sniper/ Shotgun Event

New Apex Legends Event Adds Limited-time Sniper/ Shotgun Event”

"Wraith Voidwalker" will run for two weeks, starting September 3 and ending September 17.

So the Wraith Event will probably have gone live by 7pm, BST, in the United Kingdom, unless stated otherwise by the dev team.

One of the most notable aspects of this will be the limited-time mode Armed and unsafe. She's one of the more interesting characters in Apex Legends, driven half insane by her frequent trips within the Void, witnessing alternative histories and the incessant whisperings that follow her everywhere. Along with the Voidwalker cosmetics, six new Legendary items are being added to the core loot pool. These limited-time modes are a method of allowing Respawn to test new ways of playing the game, so who knows, if Armed and risky proves popular, it may stick around for good? The battle royale title added a limited-time solo mode last month, which it is now following up with a limited-time "Armed and Dangerous" mode. If players enjoy the event, they may be able to convince Respawn to keep it permanently by filling in in-game surveys.

Finally, from the event's start through September 9, players will earn double the XP for top five finishes and wins. We're planning to roll out more of these modes in the future. "Jump in to discover for yourself the mysterious remains of the research site, including a functional prototype portal that can be used to get an early jump on the base - or to escape and reinitiate skydive". There are hidden lore details in the environment. There's also a set of direct-purchase cosmetics, which include a new frame and a Daft Punk-inspired helmeted skin for Wraith. During the event, a section of the map will be taken over, uncovering a new area.
