BMW M4 Edition M Heritage Is All About Color Play

BMW M4 Edition M Heritage Is All About Color Play”

While that's an unusual milestone to mark, the M4 Edition ///M Heritage is likely the coupe's swan song, and a sign that its replacement is right around the corner.

It will be offered in a choice of three exterior colours.

What sets the Edition M Heritage apart is a number of unique exterior and interior garnishes that salute the car's M Performance legacy.

Every one of the 750 units is numbered.

BMW has released a limited-edition variant of the M4 coupe, developed in honor of its M division's 48th anniversary. Just ten of those are destined for local roads.

Fittingly it's only offered in the three colours inspired by the BMW M GmbH logo with its light blue, dark blue and red hues.

2020 BMW M4 Edition ///M Heritage

Further distinguishing features of the M4 Edition M Heritage include a decorative strip in the colours of BMW M. It is integrated into the limited edition model's carbon fibre reinforced plastic roof. Also new are forged 20-in alloys wheels in matt grey.

The most notable changes for these models are said colours, which reference the brand's blue-blue-red stripe: Laguna Seca Blue, Velvet Blue metallic and Imola Red.

As for the interior, the model-specific full leather M seats feature prominent openings within the area of the seatbacks and a bicolour design, the latter is dependent on the exterior colour selected. As for cars painted Imola Red, the seat colours are Red and Black, which are coupled with yellow and red contrast stitching.

Cars with the Laguna Seca Blue paint finish will get seats in Silverstone/Black with turquoise stitching, while Velvet Blue cars come with Velvet Blue and Orange seats. This includes model-specific two-tone M leather seats with Heritage embroidery, with a unique colour scheme created to suit the exterior colour.

Other cabin garnishes include exclusive carbon trim strips in the M colours as well as "Edition ///M Heritage" emblems in various locations.
