Rapper Fetty Wap arrested after allegedly assaulting hotel employees

Rapper Fetty Wap arrested after allegedly assaulting hotel employees”

Another employee of the hotel made a citizen's arrest and held onto Fetty until police arrived and took him into custody, where he was booked for three counts of misdemeanour battery.

Yikes... not a great moment!

Fetty Wap rose to prominence after his debut single "Trap Queen", reached number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in May 2015.

Willie Maxwell II, who is known more commonly by his stage name Fetty Wap, was arrested at the Mirage after allegedly punching a casino employee three times. It's not clear what the argument was actually about in the first place, but now, the rapper is going to have to face some serious charges after taking things too far. Hey, at least he was accurate, right?!

"Fetty Wap hasn't forgotten where he's from", Sayegh posted on Instagram.

Maxwell was released from custody ahead of a future court date. Still, he's got an inevitable meeting with a Nevada judge before too long, at which point he'll have to answer for this alleged behavior.

MGM Resorts, which owns the Mirage, declined to comment Tuesday.

Las Vegas may be nicknamed Sin City but you're not actually supposed to go and commit sins when you're staying in Nevada. You've gotta deal with some s**t for a long time after you leave!

The rapper recently performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in Newark, New Jersey as part of a medley celebrating the Garden State alongside Redman, Naughty by Nature, Queen Latifah and Wyclef Jean.
