Razer refreshes the Blade Stealth 13 for 2019

Razer refreshes the Blade Stealth 13 for 2019”

As you would expect, the new Razer Blade Stealth 13 also comes with an RGB keyboard, USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports and WiFi 6 for improved networking.

Today at IFA, Razer kicked off the event by announcing the all new Razer Blade Stealth 13, which doubles as the world's first gaming ultrabook.

Specifically, the new Blade Stealth 13 now has a choice between an Intel Iris Plus integrated GPU, or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 dedicated GPU.

The Stealth was originally introduced as a non-gaming alternative for those who liked the Blade design and wanted something more portable, but graphics options slowly crept into the offerings. The laptop will be available in three models - two GeForce GTX models with full-HD and 4K displays and a third, which comes in Mercury White colour and without the Nvidia GPU.

Graphics and display aside, the updated Blade Stealth 13 is also fitted with a new 25W 10th generation Intel Core i7-1065G7 CPU, with a turbo boost clock of 3.9GHz.

Even with all this power, Razer has managed to keep the chassis depth at just 15mm and the laptop weighs around 1.3kg. Additionally, the notebook is fitted with dual-channel 16GB LPDDR4 RAM, running at a frequency of 3733MHz. The 4K UHD version has a glass panel with touch integration, although both versions are calibrated to offer 100% sRGB colour space. This model will be available in Mercury White finish and features a full-HD matte display and a 256GB PCIe SSD.

The new line of Razer Blade Stealth laptops will start at $1,499.99 in the United States and €1,679.99 in Europe. Us poor wretches in the UK, France, Germany, Nordics, China, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan will have to wait a little longer I'm afraid.

Fingers crossed we'll be able to get our hands on the new Blade machines soon to put them through our benchmarking suite and see just how those Iris Pro and thermally constrained GTX 1650 GPUs perform in the svelte 13-inch Stealth chassis.
