Kristen Stewart is to hide sexuality for more roles - view”

Worth a mention is that she didn't state that Marvel told her this (I'm guessing her manager or something like that did).

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar in a new cover story, Kristen Stewart opened up about fame, Charlie's Angels and why she and Robert Pattinson kept their relationship so private: "When me and Rob were together, we did not have an example to go by".

For the 29-year-old, it's all about living life and making decisions that'll make herself happy.

The two, who co-starred in the insanely popular "Twilight" series, developed a loyal following, and fans were not only fascinated by the duo's on-screen chemistry but also Stewart's off-screen romance with Pattinson.

According to Stewart, who has dated both men and women, she's had people tell her to hide her sexuality - which she doesn't like to define - to get movie roles, more specifically a spot in a Marvel movie, which as we know, can be very lucrative for the actors involved.

She continued, citing a specific thing she wasn't supposed to do.

Kristen Stewart has opened up about the discrimination she has faced in tinsel town over her sexuality.

In a new interview, actress Kristen Stewart says she was advised not to hold hands with her girlfriend in public. So much was taken from us that, in trying to control one aspect, we were just like, "No, we will never talk about it".

She concluded: "I just think we're all kind of getting to a place where - I don't know, evolution's a weird thing - we're all becoming incredibly ambiguous".

It may seem that the world and particularly the entertainment industry have become increasingly accepting when it comes to LGBT relationships, but Kristen Stewart's experience says otherwise.

. Pattinson and Stewart broke up, reconciled three months later, and officially called it quits in May 2013.

Stewart also spoke about her newfound realisations, "Every day I get older, life gets easier".

"She added: "[There are] a couple of people who are like real activists, really at the forefront of progress, and I'm like, 'You are a deplorable fraud!
