Lonzo Ball Admits BBB Shoes Were Defective, They 'Exploded'

Lonzo Ball Admits BBB Shoes Were Defective, They 'Exploded'”

Lonzo has already distanced himself from Big Baller Brand, and these recent comments about the shoes created and distributed by the company is an indication that he has no plans to return. That only came about after Nike, Adidas, and Reebok elected to pass on giving his father a ridiculous amount of money as well as other things.

"No one knows the real story about them shoes ... They were not ready", Ball admitted to Hart. "And it's insane because as soon as I switched my shoes, it's like magically I got good again".

It really is insane to think the hysteria over Big Baller Brand is over.

Ball says he actually HATED wearing the shoes and implied that his game suffered as a result.

"I'm on the phone - and this is when Alan was running everything - I'm like, "I'm not playing in them shoes". "Right when i switched my shoes, magically, I got good again".

Even though the ZO2 debuted two years ago, Lonzo didn't wear them often. We gotta switch them every quarter'.

Ball - who was playing for the Lakers during the BBB shoe era - says he would bring 4 pairs of the shoes to games because he knew they would break and he had to switch them out every quarter, . "If you literally had my shoes from those games, they just like exploded, bro".
