Oakland Raiders' Antonio Brown expresses frustration over fines for missed practice, walkthrough”

The team is planning to suspend Brown after he "got into it" with general manager Mike Mayock on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

UPDATE 2: The Athletic's Vic Tafur reports some details of Brown's exchange with Mayock.

The Raiders play the Denver Broncos on Monday night.

Oakland Raiders star Antonio Brown expressed his frustration Wednesday with a notice that the team reserves the right to fine him for missing a practice and a walkthrough last month. It was expected to be a new-look team with superstar Brown as the centerpiece, but it has been one distraction after another for Oakland and its new receiver.

The implication from Brown is that his plan all along was to parlay the helmet saga into an endorsement deal, which would actually make sense.

Listen to Clay Travis explain why he thinks this will be Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown's last season in the National Football League as the uber-talented and yet uber-dramatic future Hall of Fame wideout has partaken in one of the most freaky off-seasons in National Football League history. Then he skipped the walkthrough, got fined, complained about it on social media, and that led to the argument according to Schefter.

Read it: Mayock is telling Brown that future behavior could create a situation in which the Raiders use language in their team policy and in the CBA to take action against Brown.

Clay Travis: "We've reached the point where the Raiders are done with Antonio Brown's stupidity and both Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock wish they could get their money back".
