‘Hawkeye’ Disney Plus Series Eyes Hailee Steinfeld for Lead Role

‘Hawkeye’ Disney Plus Series Eyes Hailee Steinfeld for Lead Role”

Do you think Hailee Steinfeld would make a good Kate Bishop on Marvel's Hawkeye series?

Kate Bishop was first featured in Marvel's Young Avengers #1 in 2005. As veterans like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans exit the MCU, the studio is going to be looking to fill it with fresh talent, and Steinfeld is a wonderful choice to take on this fan-favorite role.

A major heroine from the team is Kate Bishop's Hawkeye, who we know will be in the Hawkeye series on Disney+. Kate Bishop, the fictional superheroine is trained by Clint Barton (Renner) to fight against crime with the help of a bow and arrow. Shows centered on Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Vision and Scarlet Witch, and Loki are also in the works for the upcoming streaming service. Should she end up joining the Marvel family, she would play Kate Bishop, a Marvel Comics character that takes up the mantle of Hawkeye after Clint Barton. She'd be portraying Clint Barton's protege as an Avenging archer, who, in comic books, is also a founding member of the Young Avengers. In the comics, Kate Bishop is affiliated with the Young Avengers and the West Coast Avengers. We don't know what Marvel Studios' next Avengers film will be, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the younger characters from the upcoming movies and Disney+ shows in Phase 4 were incorporated into it.

This would mark Steinfeld's second TV starring role. Now Variety is reporting that Steinfeld may have the role. She also lent her voice to Spider-Gwen in the Oscar-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
