Kim Kardashian gets emotional after testing positive for lupus”

"You really do get in your head and think about the worst possible things that can happen", said Kim.

"I don't feel self conscious about any part of my body", she says while modeling the Sculpting Bodysuit ($62 in sizes XXS-5X) in Onyx.

"Lately, my wrists have started to hurt again, but it's definitely a different feeling than before".

"So, for the next few days, it's gonna be really, wondering what I have, what's going on and how to fix this".

Kim Kardashian West got some tough news recently after seeing a doctor for exhaustion, nausea and swollen hands.

On Sunday's season premiere episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the mother of four went to get testing done after suffering from unusual symptoms.

The 38-year-old star's doctor then ordered some more tests to determine for sure whether she has Lupus and she was hoping to get the results at a later date.

After feeling exhausted and dealing with headaches, aching joints and other painful physical symptoms, the reality star made a decision to have a blood test done to find the cause.

Talking to Kanye West, who interviewed her for the September issue, she said, "There is a misconception that I don't actually have to study and that I've bought my way into getting a law degree - that's absolutely not true".

"We're going to talk about it next Sunday, but I was able to find an unbelievable doctor, Doctor Wallace, and we figured out what the problem is", she shared on Tuesday's Today. "You have to think about how much this is going to affect your life", Kim confessed in the episode. "I feel this in my bones. But until I see some of your blood work, I won't really know".

Her doctor called with the news that her blood tests revealed antibodies associated with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis which left Kardashian West in tears and "freaking out".

Rheumatoid arthritis also is an autoimmune disorder that affects the lining of a person's joints and can lead to painful swelling, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Sometimes, however, these antibodies can form to attack normal, healthy cells-as is the case with autoimmune diseases like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis-Brad Rovin, MD, director of the division of nephrology at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center tells Health.

She added, "You really get into this little depression for a minute, I got myself out of it, but it was really scary to get myself through that".
