Samsung Says Hundreds of Apps Now Optimized for Galaxy Fold

Samsung Says Hundreds of Apps Now Optimized for Galaxy Fold”

This is likely much cheaper than the full price of a screen fix, as a big part of the Galaxy Fold's $2,000 price tag probably comes from the screen cost. The other functionality is multi-resume which actually lets two apps run simultaneously without pausing, a flawless fit for the multi-window capabilities of the Galaxy Fold. It runs on Android 9 Pie and is powered by an Exynos 9611 processor.

Galaxy A30s is powered by the octa-core Exynos 7904 chipset, which is the same as its predecessor.

From a dual-camera setup on the Galaxy A30, Samsung has added another sensor to the camera module on the back of the A30s.

The Galaxy Fold's initial April launch date was delayed after review units were found to have serious durability issues with the display and hinge.

In the final hours before Apple launches its iPhone 11 series, Samsung is doing its best to ensure its imminent Galaxy Fold isn't far from people's - especially near-future phone buyer's - minds.

Both smartphones pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging and run Android 9.0 Pie OS out-of-the-box.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G is landing on EE this month

The Galaxy A50s has the same display and ultra-wide-angle lens as the A50 from earlier this year.

The Galaxy A30s is lit by a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1560 x 720. Like the A50s this device also comes in 2 memory configurations - 4/64GB & 4/128GB.

One of the biggest changes aboard in this successor is the triple camera setup, which is packing a 25MP (f/1.7) primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a third 5MP depth sensor. The U-shape cutout at the front houses a 32MP selfie shooter.

The camera app has features like a dedicated night mode, super steady video mode, best shot and scene optimizer with 30 presets, among others.

There's an on-screen fingerprint sensor and the phone supports Samsung Pay. Equipped with a powerful 4,000mAh battery and a 15W fast charging technology, the smartphone is for those who are on-the-go all the time.
