Greta Thunberg Approves Of Death Metal Remix Of Her UN Speech

Greta Thunberg Approves Of Death Metal Remix Of Her UN Speech”

Organisers say half a million people have gathered in the eastern city of Montreal alone. The 16-year-old's protests outside Swedish parliament in 2018 sparked the #FridaysForFuture movement, where students leave school and protest outside their town hall. Those of us with long memories will recall the actor was one of the first (if not the first) to take delivery of a civilian Humvee when they were released to the general public back in the 1990s.

Swedish activist Greta Thunberg has been making headlines since she voiced her climate concerns publicly and advocated some serious measures that the world is fearing to take to help combat the climate change emergency. Experts say theproposal falls far short of what's needed if the world's sixth-biggest emitter is to meet the goals of the landmark 2015 Paris climate accord.

"Today we are millions striking and marching (around the world) and we will keep doing it until they listen", she told the cheering throng.

"We will do everything in our power to stop this crisis from getting worse even if that means skipping school or work", she said. "On my behalf, I invite you to deliver an address for the Russian youth in the State Duma on any date that is convenient for you", Vlasov said in his letter, sent to the Swedish Embassy in Russia.

"She is the voice of a generation, of young people who are calling on their leaders to do more and do better", Trudeau said.

Ms Thunberg and Mr Trump very briefly crossed paths at the event, with a video of the young Swede's reaction going viral.

"Wired captioned their coverage of Greta's speech: "'People are suffering, people are dying, entire ecosystems are collapsing. And all you can talk about is money, and fairytales of eternal economic growth. Trump is one of many leaders who fail to fully comprehend not only the harsh reality of climate change, but also the tragic truth that some teenagers, like Thunberg, have sacrificed their youth to compensate for politicians' inability to act.

Rather than try to respond to him, she changed her Twitter bio to: "A very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"

This friendship between Schwarzenegger and Thunberg may seem random, but the two have been on the same climate page for ages.

Although Trump did come along to the summit, he actually only stayed for one speech, missing Greta's.
