Kiss to Play Special Concert for Great White Sharks

Kiss to Play Special Concert for Great White Sharks”

"Since we're going to be in Australia, it gives a whole new meaning to doing a concert down under", Stanley said.

Kiss and fans will set sail from Port Lincoln, Australia, on November 18 on The Shark Warrior, a glass-bottom boat that will allow passengers to see the sharks, who are reportedly drawn to low frequencies.

The event is part of Airbnb Animal Experiences, and is created to have people entertain animals instead of the other way around.

KISS will be heading down under to Australia next month, but they're taking things even further and deeper by performing for fans that actually live underwater.

"I'm not sure how much of us the sharks can take", Stanley added. The finned fans will experience the concert through underwater speakers. Vetted against new, industry-leading animal welfare guidelines, each Experience in this new category will focus on creating respectful connections with wildlife that promote empathy and respect for the animals themselves.

The freakish stunt will take the rockers literally down under as part of a promotion for Airbnb's new Animal Experiences travel option.

"Research has indicated that low-frequency and pulsed sounds can be attractive to some shark species". Proceeds will go to charity, the company said.

Some shark tour operators have been known to use music to attract the massive fish instead of bait, which can impact the animal's natural behaviour and could lead to more attacks. "It's important for people to learn that sharks are worthy of respect and protection". To book "KISS at Sea with Great White Sharks" visit on Monday October 14, 6pm ET.

A lucky few Kiss fans will be able to rock "n" roll all night while inside a submarine. "KISS has played plenty of wild shows in the past, but this one will top them all". KISS founding band members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have also entered the culinary world by opening a string of successful restaurants aptly named Rock & Brews.
