Apple’s Arcade goes live for macOS Catalina users”

Today, Apple has considered it convenient to launch the macOS Catalina Golden Master version for developers.

The Golden Master version is identical to the final release of macOS Catalina 10.15, but Apple always gives registered developers 24 hours to prepare their apps for the official launch. If you aren't familiar, a golden master is essentially the software update in its final form that will be released to the public. This is being replaced by three different apps, Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Podcasts.

With Catalina, Apple is bringing Screen Time from iOS to macOS.

The new Sidecar feature will allow Mac users to convert their iPad into a second screen.

Apple also released the first beta versions of the upcoming iOS 13.2 and iPadOS 13.2 mobile operating systems for iPhone and iPad devices with various new features and enhancements, such as the Deep Fusion camera for the new iPhone 11 smartphones, as well as support for using Siri with third-party messaging apps by default.

The macOS Catalina roll out could happen any day now, and when it does, you'll be able to dive straight into Apple Arcade on your Mac.

The update also includes support for a new Apple endeavor called Project Catalyst, which is a framework that will let developers easily port iPad apps over to the Mac. This indicates an imminent release for the next phase in Apple's macOS development.

Apple is expected to release its new macOS software this month and the last rumored release date we heard was for today, the 4th of October, whether it will land later today remains to be seen.
