Call of Duty: Mobile breaks download record with staggering player count”

The free-to-play Call of Duty: Mobile had a banner debut week with over 100 million downloads already.

PUBG, Fortnite and Electronic Arts' Apex Legends respectively scored 26.3 million, 22.5 million and 25 million in their first week of release.

Until now, combined between iOS and Android, Call of Duty Mobile is noticing over 100 million downloads in just the first week of release.

Daniel Ahmad, senior analyst at Niko Partners, notes that this number does not include China and also brings up the fact that "Activision previously had 37m monthly active users across its brands (Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot etc.) on PC/Console".

Call of Duty: Mobile has been downloaded 100 million times since its release October 1, outranking the mobile launches of Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, industry analyst firm Sensor Tower confirmed to CNET on Tuesday. That's only a week since the game opened its doors to players globally.

Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) has officially become the largest mobile game launch in history.

As it stands, 17 percent of installs have occurred in the United States, with a good amount of the game's player base built up in India and other countries across the world as well.
