Sania Mirzas sister to marry former Indian captain Azharuddins son”

Tennis star Sania Mirza recently confirmed that her sister Anam was all set to marry former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin's son Asaduddin in December, the three-time women's doubles Grand Slam champion said to the Times of India.

Meanwhile, Azhar's son, Asad, was inducted into Goa's pre-season camp a year ago and sparked controversy, as the inclusion of him comes after Azhar joined the team management as a consultant. Though Sania is a tennis player, Anam chose to make a carrier in fashion. Sania will be back to the court by December 2020 after nearly three years after taking a break from the sport as she got pregnant and got involved in the activities of mom-to-be. The Mirzas recently returned from Paris after a bachelorette trip. Now, Anam has found love in Asad and they are all set to take the saat pheras. She had uploaded a photo with Asad, with the caption: "Family".

Other tennis stars like Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters played tennis after becoming a parent. The image had her posing alongside Asad.

Last month, Anam had also shared her picture in which she is seen sitting in front of a giant "Bride to be" banner made of balloons. Anam is Sania's youthful sister and has divorced.

Anam had married Akbar, a businessman on Nov.18, 2016. Celebrities such as Salman Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Farah Khan, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta attended the wedding. Apart from being a cricketer, he also is a lawyer and is also in the construction business. His father Azharuddin was recently elected president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) to begin a new innings as a cricket administrator almost two decades after he was banned for life for his alleged involvement in match-fixing.
