Seth Rogen Responds to Iowa Teen Arrested with Superbad 'McLovin' Fake ID

Seth Rogen Responds to Iowa Teen Arrested with Superbad 'McLovin' Fake ID”

When the officer asked for his fake ID, Burleson reportedly refused.

Of course, we're talking about Christopher Mintz-Plasse's iconic turn as McLovin - the sexy hamburger - in the the beloved Superbad.

Burleson was then taken out of the bar, where he showed officers his real ID, which confirmed that he was underage.

The same can not be said for Daniel Alfredo Burleson, who was collared by police in a bar in Iowa City last Friday night.

After catching wind of the story, Rogen retweeted the news post along with the caption, "My work here is done".

So far Seth has been the only cast member from Superbad to comment on the incident after Daniel was arrest on Friday evening.

It follows an underage character named Fogell, played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who purchases a fake ID with the name "McLovin" as the full name.

Allegedly when he was sifting through his wallet to show his underage ID, officers noticed the Hawaii McLovin fake in the wallet. On Wednesday, his arrest caught the attention of Seth Rogen, who co-wrote and starred in "Superbad".

Available online: Daniel confessed to purchasing the fake ID on Amazon. The man then produced his real ID showing he was under the legal drinking age of 21.

In "Superbad", the Fogell character is a high school student who tries to buy alcohol at a convenience store with help from his friends, played by Jonah Hill and Michael Cera. A fake ID similar to the one Daniel carried now is available on the online retailer for $6.97.

The 20-year-old faces several charges including public intoxication, under legal age in a bar, possession of a fictitious license and possession of alcohol while underage. All of these charges are simple misdemeanors, except possession of a fictitious license, which is a serious misdemeanor.

KCRG reports that police said Burleson smelled of alcohol, was slurring his speech, and had bloodshot and watery eyes.
