Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino rejects calls for overhaul”

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has said that the club does not need to sign players in the January transfer window.

Tottenham's poor form this season, which included shipping 10 goals in their previous two matches, has led to accusations of staleness within the squad, many of whom have been at the club for years.

Tottenham now sit ninth on the table with 11 points two above Manchester United after eight matches who have dropped to 12th. "I know they have the quality", said Pochettino ahead of tomorrow's home match against Watford. I believe in the players we have that are in Tottenham today.

"We've got to this point and now we need to.as I said to the press after the Brighton game, we can't back down, we need to push forward, push through it, fight through it, everyone together".

In good news for Spurs, summer signings Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon have returned from injury and could be set to potentially make an appearance during Saturday's game.

Meanwhile, Pochettino has done brilliantly to build Spurs into a side consistently challenging for the top four places in the Premier League, while he got them to the Champions League final last term.

"This type of situation happens at all clubs sooner or later. We have the quality to be fighting for the things that we expect to fight for".

"It's not about selection, not about the names, it's about collective behaviour and performance".

Spurs are now struggling in all competitions this season and Pochettino's side have been knocked out of the Carabao Cup, with their hopes in the Premier League and Champions League hanging in the balance.
