Baby Yoda Merchandise to Debut Ahead of Holiday Shopping Season

Baby Yoda Merchandise to Debut Ahead of Holiday Shopping Season”

It's not though, it's a screenshot from the 2002 GameCube and PS2 game Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, which tasked you to hunt down Dark Jedi Komari Vosa as the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett.

Baby Yoda merchandise could be available for purchase as soon as Friday at Macy's, Target, Kohl's, Zazzle, Hot Topic, Box Lunch and Amazon, according to CNBC, which said it verified the information through an anonymous source familiar with the situation.

When ET told Filoni that fans aren't sure what to call Baby Yoda, he responded saying, "They don't know yet".

The Mandalorian debuted on Disney+ last week, and the main thing that's captured fans' imaginations has been one outrageously cute character who looks an terrible lot like a baby version of Jedi master Yoda. CNBC reports that all kinds of toys and apparel based on the character will be out in time for the holidays. Yet that nickname has irked some fans because The Child is technically not a baby version of Yoda given that the Jedi Master passed away and became one with the Force five years before the events of The Mandalorian.

Who knows how much the plush replicas will go for?

They have a couple of pictures of shirts with an illustration of Baby Yoda on them.

The baby Yoda character, referred to as "the Child" on the series, made its surprise debut at the end of episode one of "Mandalorian" earlier this month.

Of course, with it being a Disney production, the merch will also be flogged across the entertainment giant's own stores, shopDisney, and via its theme parks.

We still don't know what the titular hero of The Mandalorian is going to do with the little "asset" that he found in the first live-action Star Wars series, but it is more than clear that the real world wants a piece of it. We really wanted to have it be that you had to watch it yourself, so that every time you watch the show, there are new twists and secrets that come out.
