Veteran 'Will and Grace' actress Shelley Morrison dies at 83”

Shelley Morrison, a 50-year-old actress, was best known for playing a memorable maid in "Will and Grace", who died.

Her publicist told The Associated Press that the cause of death heart failure after a brief illness. Her character was written out of the show in the first season of the reboot in the episode titled, "Rosario's Quinceañera", where she died of a heart attack.

"Rosario is considered one of my all-time favourite characters", Morrison mentioned lately, in response to an announcement and biography saying her demise.

Morrison played Rosario Salazar, the Salvadoran maid to socialite Karen Walker, played by Megan Mullally, in the original run of "Will & Grace" from 1999 to 2006.

Although Shelley Morrison did not reprise her role in the Will and Grace revival, due in part to medical issues, her former co-stars shared some sweet messages on social media.

"She was part of our Will and Grace family and will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to her husband, Walter and her entire family". She lived in the same apartment building in Los Angeles for 69 years, promising her parents, who had also moved there, she would always take care of it.

She had six adopted children with husband Walter Domínguez.

Will & Grace star Shelley Morrison has passed away at the age of 83.

Debra Messing, who played Grace in the series, paid tribute to Morrison on Instagram on Monday.

"Shelley was a lovely soul & a wonderful actor". She was absolutely hilarious and had the biggest heart.

'Such sad news. Our beloved Shelley Morrison passed away today.

"Her work as Rosario, season after season, was as nuanced and real as it was hysterical", he said. "All my love to Walter and the entire family".

She also guest-starred on dozens of television series starting in the early 1960s, including "The Fugitive", "L.A. Law" and "Murder, She Wrote". Most lately, she voiced a personality, Mrs. Portillo, on the Disney intelligent series "To hand Manny". She was typically forged as Latina characters, however she performed a variety of ethnicities in theater, tv and movie.
