Beyonce & Jay-Z sat for Super Bowl national anthem”

Donald Trump often called out football star Colin Kaepernick for his socially loaded practice of "taking the knee" during the performance of the United States national anthem at the start of football games.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z chose not to stand during the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl and Twitter has many thoughts.

While the power couple has yet to address the criticism they are receiving now over their decision to not stand up during the Super Bowl anthem, Jay-Z had earlier voiced his views already.

'No one is saying he hasn't been done wrong, ' Jay-Z said.

She has since admitted that whilst hospitalised, she thought she may never come back into the music business. They need to live somewhere else if they can't bother to stand for the National Anthem.

Congratulations Demi and thanks for showing everyone that whilst achieving dreams aren't always easy, they're always possible.

Beyonce has performed at the Super Bowl multiple times.

Jay-Z and his Roc Nation company consulted with the league on the halftime show, and also to, 'strengthen community through music and the NFL's Inspire Change initiative'. She nailed "The Star-Spangled Banner" in a way that only a truly talented singer could.

As a partner of the NFL, Jay-Z co-produces the half-time show and has a say in who has the honour of performing the USA anthem.

Demi's manager, Scooter Braun, took to Instagram to thank the "Crazy In Love" rapper for the opportunity, penning: "Wow wow wow".

Footage has emerged of Donald Trump conducting and gesturing along to a performance of the US National Anthem at an event to mark the 2020 Superbowl. "Pls she only needs Beyonce's compliment and that girl is ELITE [sic]", added another.

Beyoncé, Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy caught the attention of the public after TMZ posted a video of the family staying seated during Lovato's powerful Super Bowl performance.
