Kathleen Kennedy Hints at Future Star Wars Movie Female Director

Kathleen Kennedy Hints at Future Star Wars Movie Female Director”

Star Wars fans have been through a lot since Disney bought the property almost a decade ago, including a trilogy that messily tied things together, and several movies that received mixed critical acclaim.

Kennedy previously discussed the idea of a director for a future Star Wars film.

In the past few weeks, reports about an alternate ending filmed for The Rise of Skywalker got Star Wars fans quite surprised and confused.

That's a good thing, but there are still no female directors in charge of their movies.

Meanwhile, a couple of women supervisors have actually landed the leading area in "Star Wars" on TELEVISION, for instance the Disney+ collection "The Mandalorian", yet have yet to lead a cinema manufacturing. In 2016, she said to Variety: "We want to make sure that a director who plays Star Wars is on the road to success".

"We've already got [women directors]".

"We're doing Mandalorian, and we've got two or three fantastic women working with Star Wars, and we just brought in Deborah Chow, who's doing the Obi-Wan [Kenobi] series. We promote a lot of great talents".

Star Wars fanatics can hitch a ride to places far, far away on a special United Airlines jet decked out as the only Star Wars-themed commercial jet winging it across the galaxy. Then we'll finally crack open what could be one of the strangest, most obscure secrets in the sequel trilogy.

It's always the same old names coming up again and again.
