Prince William's priceless reaction to fan's comment on the red carpet

Prince William's priceless reaction to fan's comment on the red carpet”

It's not the first time that there's been a dress code for the BAFTAs - back in 2018, many guests wore black in support of the Time's Up movement.

They were lined up along the red carpet, watching the celebrities arrive when Prince William and Kate passed them by.

"I was just looking at this thinking I'd seen it on her before".

But they didn't want the Duke of Cambridge to feel left out, so one of the men in the group called: "And so do you Will".

The comment sparked a reaction from Prince William and his wife, Kate.

A video of Kate shows her greeting a leader smiling, but her smile quickly turned to a look of sadness, which has royal watchers concerned.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge made an eco-friendly statement on the red carpet at the 2020 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) by rewearing an Alexander McQueen dress.

The orginal design featured floaty, sheer sleeves.

The Duchess congratulated Renee Zellweger for her win as Leading Actress for her role in Judy.

She also brought the glamour with her choice of jewellery: a £13,250 gold and mother of pearl four leaf clover earring and necklace set by luxury French brand Van Cleef & Arpels.

Inside, William presented the Fellowship Award - the highest honour at the BAFTAs - to film producer Kathleen Kennedy. Phoenix also thanked Prince William for his speech which pointed out at the lack of diversity in the awards nominations at the awards show.

"Sustainability is very important to BAFTA, and we're doing more than ever before", a spokesperson told Harper's Bazaar U.K.

Prince William, who has been the BAFTA president for the last 10 years, also proclaimed his love for "Joker" and chatted with Joaquin Phoenix who bagged the Best Actor award. "We find ourselves talking again about the need to do more to address diversity in the sector".
