As Abhishek Bachchan rings in his 44th birthday on Wednesday, wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared some adorable pictures of an intimate family celebration on social media.

And now, just a few hours back, Abhishek Bachchan's sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda has wished the actor on his birthday with a throwback picture. His birthday is no different.

Aishwarya Instagrammed a couple of pictures, giving a sneak peek of Abhishek Bachchan's special day. His wife and actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to Instagram to share the close-knit affair with their followers.

Abhishek Bachchan replied by putting a heart and hugging face emoticon. In another frame, we can see the Bachchan family along with the birthday cake, written 44 on it. He wrote, "It has dawned towards the 5th. the birth of Abhishek, later at night. the Breach Candy Hospital and the entire day has gone by in anxious anticipation for his arrival. finally it happens and there is joy and celebration".

Abhishek Bachchan has begun the shooting of his upcoming Netflix film Bob Biswas which is directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh and is touted to be a spin-off from Sujoy Ghosh's film, Kahaani. His other big projects include Ajay Devgn production The Big Bull and second season of Amazon Prime Video's web series Breathe.
