‘Ray Donovan’ Has Been Cancelled After Seven Seasons”

The sequence star, Liev Schreiber, was nominated for 3 Golden Globes and three Emmys for his efficiency, with the present choosing up a Supporting Actor Golden Globe for Jon Voight and an Excellent Visitor Actor Emmy for Hank Azaria.

We've seen the last of Ray Donovan, as Showtime has canceled the series after seven seasons on the network.

"After seven incredible seasons, Ray Donovan has concluded its run on Showtime", the statement reads. We are proud that the series has ended with good audiences and strength.

The show's seventh season finale last month ended with a cliffhanger, joining a list of high-profile shows that ended under similar circumstances, including Mork & Mindy, The Arrangement and My Name Is Earl. "Our deepest thanks go to Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight, showrunner David Hollander and all the forged and crew, previous and current, for his or her devoted work".

Levine said last month at the TCA that Ray Donovan was "nearing the end of its run, ' as it was initially planned for a 'seven or eight" season run. The announcement was made by Showtime co-president of entertainment Gary Levine at the network's Television Critics' Association press tour day in January. Nothing has been decided yet, but it is fair to say that the end is near " On Instagram, Schreiber added,"What an unbelievable trip it has been.

As recently as two weeks ago, Schreiber was urging fans to reach out to Showtime if they wanted a season 8.

Season 7 noticed Donovan (Schreiber) come as shut as he'd ever executed to issues collapsing round him.

Ray Donovan was produced by The Mark Gordon Firm, Ann Bidderman Firm, Bider Candy Productions, David Hollander Productions and Showtime Networks. "While he makes progress with Dr. Amiot (five-time Emmy and Golden Globe victor Alan Alda), there are dangers from the past that require the Ray Donovan of old". Between NYC mayor Ed Feratti (Grenier), an unrelenting NYPD officer hunting for the truth and clients old and new, Ray struggles to find the balance between fixing for clients and fixing himself.
